GF Management Welcomes Garfield Campbell as Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing

 

GF Management, an award-winning ownership and management company with more than 85 hospitality assets in its portfolio, is proud to announce Garfield S. Campbell as Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In his role, Garfield will manage the sales and marketing portfolio of full-service and premium branded hotels in the western region. With more than 28 years of experience, Garfield has spent the vast majority of his hospitality career with Marriott International and Starwood Hotels and Resorts. He has served as a Director of Sales and Marketing in large convention hotels, as well as urban and airport facilities throughout the United States. Prior to joining GF Management, Garfield served as Director of Business Development as well as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing with Atlanta based company, Hotel Equities, LLC.

Garfield’s hospitality career began when he attended Stockton State College in New Jersey, where he earned a BA in Psychology. While attending college, he landed his first hotel role in the guest services department as a Valet, at the then Marriott Seaview Resort. After graduation, he launched his management career with Marriott, as a Sales Manager in La Jolla, California.

“It is very fitting that my hospitality career began in the Delaware Valley and now many years later, I have been given an opportunity to become an associate of one of the premiere hospitality companies on the eastern seaboard,” states Garfield.

Garfield resides in Arizona with his wife, Stephanie and 2 daughters, Gabby and Maddy. His eldest daughter attends Arizona State University and his youngest is awaiting acceptance to University of Arizona.

Welcoming Lauren Shaughnessy as Executive Assistant

Philadelphia, PA- GF Management, an award winning ownership and management company with more than 86 hospitality assets in its portfolio, welcomes Lauren Shaughnessy as Executive Assistant. In her new role, Lauren will support the Executive Team.

Lauren Shaughnessy comes to GF Management from Indiana State University graduating with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and a Bachelor’s in Management with a minor in Sales and Negotiations. While in school, she completed an internship with The Hilton Garden Inn Terre Haute in Indiana, where she worked under the General Manager and Sales Director. During Lauren’s internship she was able to learn about various sales positions and grow her passion.  Her most recent experience was at The Mansion on Main Street located in Voorhees, New Jersey. While at The Mansion, Lauren worked with the sales team as Executive Meeting Manager.

GF Management is excited to have Lauren Shaughnessy join the team at the corporate office and looks forward to all of her accomplishments.

Welcoming Anna Zhao as ACA Benefits Coordinator

Philadelphia, PA- GF Management, an award winning ownership and management company with more than 86 hospitality assets in its portfolio, welcomes Anna Zhao as ACA Benefits Coordinator. Anna’s focus will be around the Affordable Care Act by assisting the properties with gathering data, tracking hours, auditing the 1095-C/1094-C forms and all of the new changes within Health Care Reform.

Anna Zhao comes to GF Management from Temple University graduating with a Bachelor in Business studying Human Resource Management. Her experience includes working for companies such as, Independence Blue Cross, U.S Department of Labor, and Day & Zimmermann in their human resources department.

“We are very excited to have hired a recent Temple graduate and millennial here at GF Management. Anna has a passion for Health Care Reform (HCR) and is elated to jump on board,” stated Ashley Allphin, Director of Benefits at GF Management.
